Death of Guy P. Bigg-Wither
Son of Thomas Bigg-Whither, lived at Rumford House in 1881 (Kelly's Directory),
Died at sea during his return to England.  Buried in Pembury, Old Churchyard.

Beware some of this 'history' is fantasy and must be treated with caution.
In particular, the age of the Black Horse pub being over 400 years old is nonsense.
