1971 Proposed development of Lower Green
The map shows the Beagles Wood oast house, destroyed by fire in Oct 1952 - see earlier cutting.
It is not known if they were working on an old base map or if the destroyed building was still in existence.
The oast house farm building is the lumpy, bone shaped structure to the right of the Romford Road/Henwood Green Road junction.
