An Act to enable the Metropolitan Railway Company to extend their Railway from Finsbury Circus to Trinity Square, Tower Hill; and for other purposes.
  This track ran from Moorgate to Tower Hill [then Mark Lane] and became a part of the Circle Line on today's London Underground.
  Line openings: 1875 Moorgate to Bishopsgate.  1876 Bishopsgate to Aldgate.  1882 Aldgate to Mark Lane (changed to Tower Hill in 1946).
